🔢 Steps to Add and Remove Genres
Adding Genres
To add a genre:
Go to the Songer website.
Choose “Generate” or “Custom lyrics.”
In the “Type up to 5 genres or vibes” field, select the genres from the list or start typing your genre. Tip: To add more than one genre, just press Enter or type a comma, then continue.
Removing Genres
To remove a genre:
In the “Type up to 5 genres or vibes” field, just hit the "Backspace" key or click on the genres and manually uncheck the selected genres in the list.
🔥 Popular Genres Come First
You might notice the genre list isn’t in alphabetical order. That’s intentional. The most popular genres appear first, so most users can jump right in without scrolling endlessly.
🔎 Searching Made Easy
With over 800 genres available, typing just a letter or two will instantly narrow the list. Try entering a few characters like “syn” to reveal options such as Synthwave or Synth Pop.
The more you type, the more precise the results get.
If a genre doesn’t appear right away, keep typing to refine the search.
💡Tip. Typing two or three letters usually works best.

Yes, you can create custom genres too. Here’s how:
Go to the Songer website.
Choose “Generate” or “Custom lyrics.”
In the “Type up to 5 genres or vibes” field, start typing your genre, like Christmas or Halloween.
Add a short prompt for context (like generate a Christmas song) and hit the "Create Song" button.
