Login Issues

Learn the most common login issues and the troubleshooting steps for them.

If something isn’t letting you log in, it’s usually one of a few common things.

Here’s how to fix them.

Switching to Email and Password Login

If you originally signed in using Google, Facebook, or another provider and want to switch to email and password:

  1. Go to Songer's website

  2. Log out completely. To do this:

    1. On the desktop, click on the person icon at the top right corner and select "Sign out"

    2. On mobile, tap the ☰ icon and then "Sign out"

  3. Hit "Login" at the top of the homepage

  4. Click “Forgot your password?”

  5. Enter your email address used on the Songer account

  6. Check your inbox for the reset link, and your Spam folder if it doesn't show up

  7. Follow the instructions in the email

Once that’s done, you can log in using just your email and password. No third-party buttons required.

Using Google Login and Forgot Your Password?

If you signed up with Google login, there’s no separate Songer password to reset. You’ve got two options:

Option 1: Change your Google password

Update your Google account password at: myaccount.google.com/security. That will update access to Songer as well.

Resetting Your Password

If you already use email and password login and just need a reset, use the Forgot your password option and follow the instructions sent to your email.
