🛡️ Your Original Songs Are Safe
When you click either "Reuse Request" or "Regenerate," your original song stays exactly where it is: Safe in your "Songs" tab. Even if you’ve downloaded the file, it remains untouched on your device and in your account.
Any new version you create just joins the lineup as an additional track, like a remix sibling. No overwriting, no disappearing act. So, explore away. You can experiment freely without worrying that your first take is gone forever.
🔄️ What Happens When You "Regenerate"
When you use the "Regenerate" button, Songer reruns your original inputs (same lyrics, prompt, and genre) and produces a new version. Think of it as the same idea performed with a slightly different mood.
The regenerated track starts out locked by default, but you can preview the first 60 seconds before deciding to unlock it. This gives you a taste of the vibe before you commit.
♻️ What Happens When You "Reuse Request"
The "Reuse Request" button is your creative control room. It reopens your previous setup (lyrics, genre, and prompt) so you can tweak it before generating a new track.
Maybe you want to fix a lyric, change the genre, or adjust the tone. You can do all that.
The resulting song will be inspired by your edits, but the melody won’t be identical to the original. It’s a completely new generation with your refined input.
⚖️ Which Option to Choose?
Use "Reuse Request" if you need to make any edits before regenerating. It's ideal for refining lyrics, genres, or prompts.
Use "Regenerate" if you'd like to keep everything the same, but want to get a fresh take.
