Your Original Songs Are Safe
When you click either "Reuse Request" or "Regenerate," your original song stays exactly where it is. It remains untouched in your "Songs" tab and on your device if you've already downloaded it. Every new version you create is added as a separate track; nothing gets overwritten or deleted. Experiment as much as you want.
What Happens When You "Regenerate"
Regenerate reruns your original inputs, same lyrics, prompt, and genre, and produces a new version. Same idea, slightly different execution. The regenerated track starts locked, but you can preview the first 50% before deciding whether to unlock it.
What Happens When You "Reuse Request"
Reuse Request reopens your previous setup so you can make changes before generating a new track. Adjust a lyric, swap the genre, tweak the tone, whatever needs changing. The resulting song will reflect your edits, but it won't be a copy of the original. It's a completely new generation built from your refined input.
Note: The "Reuse Request" button is not available for songs generated through "Song Wizard" mode.
Which Option to Choose?
Use "Reuse Request" when you want to make changes to lyrics, genre, or prompt before generating
Use "Regenerate" when you want to keep everything the same and just get a fresh take
