Downloading Songs
Unlocked songs can be downloaded as audio files.
Use them for sharing, posting, or keeping a local backup. Your call.
On Desktop
To download a song on desktop:
The file will be saved to your computer. Exactly where your browser puts downloads.
On Mobile
To download a song on mobile:
The file will be saved to your device.
Free Plan Download Limits
On the free plan, downloads are limited to:
MP3 format
22,050 Hz sample rate
64 kbps quality
If you want higher quality or more formats, upgrading is required. No surprises there.
Alternative Download Method
If the standard download doesn’t cooperate, there’s a fallback.
Example:
Original:

https://songer.co/songs/xxxx/download
Press Enter. The file should download directly.
Finding Downloaded Songs on Mobile Devices
If the file isn’t obvious:
Check Downloads or Music
Use your device’s search and enter the song name
On Android, look in Files or My Files.
On Samsung, open My Files and check Downloads.
Different device? Same idea. Different menu.
Finding Downloads on iPhone (All Browsers)
Downloaded files live in the Files app.
If iCloud storage is full:
Open Files
Select On My iPhone
Open the folder for the browser you used
If iCloud storage is available:
Open Files
Select iCloud Drive
Open Downloads
If you’re not sure which applies, check both. One of them will be right.
Downloading via Safari on iPhone
To download using Safari:
Open Songer in Safari and go to Songs
Find the track
Tap the Export icon
Choose your settings and tap Download
Confirm when prompted
To locate the file:
You can also save it manually:
Open the downloaded file
Tap Share
Select Save to Files
Done.
Final Note
If managing files on mobile gets annoying, download them on a desktop instead.
Sometimes the simplest solution is still the best one.
