Overview

When using Custom Lyrics, the AI puts most of its attention on your lyrics, genre selection, and vocal choice. If your prompt gets too crowded with instructions, instrument lists, tempo details, and performance notes all at once, the AI may only pick up on some of them. Keeping things focused gets you better results.

How to Get Stronger Results

  • Use the “Type up to 5 genres or vibes” field to set the overall mood. For example: groovy indie, deep vocals, Norwegian accent, funky guitar, synths

  • Keep any extra instructions short and to the point. Tags like [gritty vocals] or [solo bass guitar] work better than full sentences

  • Let the genre and vocal dropdowns do the heavy lifting. They carry significant influence over the song's arrangement and tone

  • For special touches like slide guitar, organ swells, or tempo cues, write them as short bracketed notes, for example [slide guitar], rather than describing them in prose

A clean, focused prompt gives the AI more room to deliver something accurate and expressive.
