⬇️ How to Download and Find Downloaded Songs?

Learn how to download your songs and fine them on your device.

🔢 General Downloading Steps

Songer allows you to download your songs as audio files so you can share with anyone, post videos to socials, or save a backup copy for yourself.

💻 On Desktop

To download a song:

  1. Log in to your Songer account.

  2. Go to your Songs page.

  3. Find the song you'd like to download.

  4. Click the "Export" Icon (⬇️).

  5. Select the audio format, sample rate, and quality, then click the "Download" button.


📱 On Mobile

To download a song:

  1. Log in to your Songer account.

  2. Tap the three lines (☰) in the top-right, then select "Songs."

  3. Find the song you'd like to download.

  4. Tap the "Export" Icon (⬇️).

  5. Select the audio format, sample rate, and quality, then tap the "Download" button.

💡 Note. Users on the free plan can download songs only in MP3 format, 22,050 Hz sample rate, and 64 kbps quality.

To get more download options, you'd need to upgrade your plan.


➕ Alternative Downloading Option

If the regular downloading doesn't work for some reason, here's your plan B on how to download your songs:

  1. Log in to your Songer account.

  2. Find the song you want to download in your Songs list.

  3. Copy the URL of the variation you wish to download by clicking on "Copy Link."

  4. Paste the URL into your browser’s address bar.

  5. Before pressing Enter, modify the link by adding an "s" after /song/ and appending /download at the end.

For example:

  • Original URL: https://songer.co/song/xxxx

  • Modified URL: https://songer.co/songs/xxxx/download

This should allow you to download the file directly.


📱 How to Find Downloaded Songs for All Mobile Devices

If you can’t find your downloaded song on your device, here are some steps you can try:

  1. Check your phone’s "Downloads" or "Music" folder.

  2. Use your device’s search function to look for the song by name.

  • 🍏 If you’re on an Apple device, you can follow Apple’s guide on locating files: Apple Support.

  • 🤖 If you’re on Android, the process depends on the manufacturer, but you can often find the files in the Files or My Files app. You can also read this guide on managing downloads on Android: Google Support.

  • 💫 If you’re on a Samsung Galaxy, open the My Files app, then go to Downloads or use the search option. You can also check Samsung’s official guide here: Samsung Support.

If you're using another device, try searching for the instructions on locating downloads on your device on the web. For example, "how to find downloads on Huawei."


🍏 How to Find Downloaded Songs for iPhone Users (All Browsers)

If your iCloud storage is full, you should be able to locate your downloaded songs in "Files" on your iPhone. Here's how:

  1. Open "Files" (if you can't find it, tap "Search" and type "Files").

  2. Open "On My iPhone."

  3. Open the browser folder (e.g., "Chrome") with which you downloaded your song. There you should see your song.

On the other hand, if your iCloud storage is not full, you should be able to locate your songs like this:

  1. Open "Files" (if you can't find it, tap "Search" and type "Files").

  2. Open "iCloud Drive."

  3. Open "Downloads." There you should be able to see your song.

If you're unsure whether your iCloud is full, try both options. Either way, one of them should help you find your song on your iPhone.

Alternatively, you can download your song using a laptop or PC, and then you will be able to locate it more easily.


🍏 How to Download and Find Songs via Safari on iPhone

Here are the steps to download your songs for Safari on iPhone:

  1. Open Songer in Safari and go to the "Songs" tab.

  2. Find the song you want to download.

  3. Tap the "Export" icon below the song.

  4. Select your download settings and tap "Download."

  5. A pop-up will appear, tap "Download."

To find your downloaded song on your iPhone:

  1. Tap the small arrow icon at the top/bottom of Safari (depending on your browser setting) to open "Downloads." If there's no arrow, tap the Songer website URL, close it by clicking on the cross icon, and the arrow should appear.

  2. Tap the magnifying glass 🔎 next to the song you downloaded. It will guide you to the downloaded song location.

  3. That’s it! You can now locate your song in the "Downloads" folder on your iPhone.

Alternatively, to find your downloaded song on your iPhone:

  1. Tap the small arrow icon at the top/bottom of Safari (depending on your browser setting) to open "Downloads."

  2. Tap the downloaded song to open it.

  3. Tap the "Share" icon.

  4. Tap "Save to Files."

  5. Tap "Save."

  6. Done! You can now locate your song in the "Files" folder on your iPhone.
